Background
I'm a DOP and Camera Operator with over a decade of experience in Video Production, now based in Townsville, North Queensland.
Before film and TV, I worked as an Audio Visual Technician, mastering sound, video and lighting for concerts, conferences and events. That foundation still shows in how I set a room and problem-solve on set.
With over 20 years around broadcast TV, I started with a Certificate in Film and TV in 2004 and got hands-on as a Camera Assistant / Cabler at TVNZ.
I contributed to major projects including Lotto, Mitre 10 Dream Home, Dancing with the Stars and live sports, then pushed further with a Diploma in Film from the Southern Institute of Technology, graduating in 2017.
Today I'm fully immersed in the craft: cameras, light, sound and edit, bringing that full-stack experience to every freelance booking.

I'm highly proficient across a wide range of digital cinema cameras and own high-end gear including a Sony CineAlta F55 and Sony FX9, plus a full lighting and sound setup ready for your next video content need.
